<br />The regular meeting ot the" Village C'Duncil of Centerville was held on September 11, <br />1963. Those present were: Mayor BUrque <br />COuncilman Peterson <br />Councilman LaMotte <br />Councilman Dupre <br />Absent was: Clerk BOurquin <br /> <br />The minutes were taken by crouncilman Dupre in absence of CJ.erk. <br /> <br />C.ouncilman LaMotte made ~ motion to accept the minutes ot last months meeting as <br />r ... , read and was seconded by Councilman Peterson. <br />. \. -./ <br />" -t: ..,..,4" <br /> <br />A discussion on the Village streets that were scarifyed. Mayor Burque will get in <br />contact with Mr. Vedee to get recommendations of the type of gravel or sand to be <br />put on the road. <br /> <br />Councilman Peterson made a motion to contact AJ. Burque and was seconded by LaMotte <br />abo~t his. street on the Burque Addition to go along with the Village. Cl.erk will <br />contact Al Burque tor a special meeting after Mayor Bilrque finds out recommendations <br />tor wlIi!8It. <br />Sw-oL. <br /> <br />C.ouDcilman LaMotte made a motion to haul 40 more yards of gravel on the Jeska Road, <br />this was se~oDded by Councilman Peterson. <br /> <br />Ol.erk Bourquin is to notify the County, asking for them to patch up the street <br />, m. 011 the we::st side of the church. <br /> <br />Councilman LaMotte made a motion to accept John Peterson's petition to change the <br />described property from a residental to a commercial are~, this was seconded by <br />Dupre, motion carried. A hearing will be held at the next regular meeting for <br />this. <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />Clerk is to check in minutes to see if anyone is on a committee for the sewer or <br />building code. <br /> <br />Councilman LaMotte made a motion to contact the County about wash-outs west of <br />cemetery on Joe Dupre's property and also John Peterson's property.
