<br />Minutes of the Janua~ 3, 1970 Meeting <br /> <br />The Village cou~cil of Centerville held a special meeting in the <br />Village Hall on the 3 January 1910. <br />Those present were; <br />Mayor Marc~l Hivard <br />Treas. Ruth Knabe <br /> <br />COU1!cilms#.n Dupre <br />Councilman Barott <br /> <br />() <br /> <br />Clerk Happy <br /> <br />Counoilman Peterson <br /> <br />The minutes of the 4th, lOth, and 21th of December 1969 were read and <br />a.' motion by Barott 2nd by Peterson to accept the minutes as presented. <br /> <br />f <br /> <br />The following Officals were ohoose and agreed upon by all members of <br />the " Council. <br />Aoting Mayor - John Peterson <br />Health Officer - Dr. Robert W. Rei! <br />" tt (Is t) - ]lIe 1 vin Dupre <br />It tt (2nd) - Gary Barott <br />Building Inspector - William Rehbein <br />Assessor - Joseph LaCasse <br />Village Paper ~ Blaine Life (.6 mos.) <br />Villa..ge Bank: - First State Bank: of Hugo <br />Weed Inspeotor - Harvey Cartier <br /> <br />The following were sworn into the Offices to which they were elected. <br />l~~yor - }.~arcel Rivard 2;:, yea:rs <br />Councilman - Ga~ Barott ~~3 years <br />Constable - Curtis Olson 2 years <br />Treasurer - Ruth Knabe appointed 1 yea.r <br /> <br />The Council agreed to purchase a Locker and file Cabinet for the <br />Police Department, and a floor gas heater for the Village Hall. <br /> <br />(--'\. <br /> <br />Charles Knabe and Fran Burque shall take care of the Snow removal in <br />the Village for the year 1970 ,and the Snow removal from the Skating <br />Ri~~s will be kept on a seperate bill. <br /> <br />The C~uncil agreed to adopt the Minnesota Statues conoerning the Snow - <br />mobiles and Traffic Ordinances. <br /> <br />~reasurer Ruth Knabe reported the balance as of Jan. 1,1970 to be <br />$ 4,339.64. <br /> <br />The regular Village meeting for Janua~ will be held on the 9 Jan. 1970 <br />at 7 :00 P.~l. <br />Meeting Adjourned at 10:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Village Clerk <br />Roger J.
