<br />Minutes of the 14 Febuary 1968 Meeting <br /> <br />The Village Council of Centerville held their regular meeting in the <br /> <br />Village Hall on the 14 Febuary 1968. <br /> <br />Those present were: <br />l~layor - Barott <br />Trees. - R. Knabe <br />- Clerk Happy <br /> <br />Councilman - Dupre <br />" - Peterson <br />n _ Riv2,rd <br /> <br />C\ <br /> <br />A motion by Rivard 2nd by Dupre to accept the minutes of the 10 Janua~ <br />1968 meeting as presented, motion carried. <br /> <br />The Council agreed to meet at ~~. Carley's offioe on the 27. Feb.1968 <br />to discuss the blue-prints of the future sewer project. <br /> <br />01erk Happy will contaot Bruoe Fleming and Ray Houle to work on some <br />sort of a system to keep stray dogs under control. <br /> <br />Nate Osvold, Speoial Policeman was at the meeting to request a 90 day <br />leave of absence from police dut1es,this request was denied. y~. Oevold <br />then resigned,his resignation was acoepted. He will turn in all Uniforms <br />And Village equipment to M~or Barott. <br /> <br />A motion qy Rivard 2nd qy Peterson to renew the Ball Pa~k oontract with <br />I\1r. Chauncey Barrot at 850.00 a year for 5 yea.re, up to a.nd inoluding..19~2. <br />motion carried. A motion by Dupre 2nd." by Ha.ppy to lease from John <br />Peterson, the West 59feet of lots 10 &.11 Auditors subdevision 48 for a <br />road leading to the Ba+l Park for $1.00 a year for 5 years, motion carried. <br /> <br />A motion b,y Rivard 2nd qy Peterson to order 5 new Village }~nuals, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />..~ ."_._~ <br /> <br />.6~ ....-~.~, <br /> <br />A motion qy Rivard 2nd b,y Happy to refund to the V. Fire Department <br />$150.00 for Fire runs, motion oarried. <br /> <br />G <br /> <br />A committee is being planned for the purpose of purohasing land for future <br /> <br />Village use, i~. Franois Burque is to head this committee,with the follow- <br /> <br />ing men,that may _be added to the committee. <br /> <br />Robert McKenzie Gene Tra~y <br />Charles Knabe Halley Hallstrom <br />Robert LaVasser Joseph LaCasse. <br /> <br />Treasurer Ruth Knabe reported the balance to be $ 2,780.51. <br /> <br />The following Bills were agreed up on to be paid. <br />Northern States Power Co. $ 20.96 Hall Light Bill for January <br />Northern States Power Co. 103.80 Street Light Bill for Janua~ <br />Northwestern Bell Tele.
