M. <br /> <br />The following' members were present: Rivard, Peterson, <br />Dupre, B.arott and Hap.py; and the followingraemb.ers were a~sen1;: <br />None. <br /> <br />, Member Happy 1ntrodueedthe following Resolu~1oD and <br />moved its a'dopt1on:- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT OF <br />PELTIERLAIC-E DRIVE AND ORDERING <br /> <br />.' ~. . . . <br /> <br />PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICA- <br />TIONS <br /> <br />~lHERE.AS, pursuant to a.' resolut1onof the Village c~t~ <br />Council a.dopt.ed September 9, 19'70, the Council fixed a <br />,date for a hearing on the propos.ed improvement of Pel~ier <br />LakeDri VEt between "the East line of C..Qunt;y Road 14 and <br />a point approximately 495 feet East of Burque Addition <br />No.1 as ~ed1cate:d by grading an..d surfacing in accordance <br />with Ordinance No. 1~; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS t.en days' notice or the hearing through <br />two weekly publications and mailing .to t.he owner of each <br />parcel within the are.a proposed t.o be ass'e.s:s.ed of the re- <br />quired notice was given and the hearing wa$ held thereon <br />,on the 30th day of S.eptember, 1970, at which time all <br />persons d.esiring to' be. heard were given an opport.unlty. <br />to be heard thereon, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF THE VILLAGE OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1 . That 1-t is advisable, expedie'n~ and necessary <br />that the Village of Centerville hereby improve Peltier <br />Lake Drive between the East line of County R.oad 14 and <br />,a pointappr'oximately,.49S t'eat, East,..,.of.Burt1ue:....Ad.dt~.1,on. <br />No.1 as dedicatedby'grading and surfacing in accordance <br />with O'rdinance No. 14, and such improvem,ent is hereby <br />ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted <br />September 9. 1970, pursuant to the preliminary report <br />of thE? consulting engineer at an estimat.ed cost of <br />$1~J,e6.00. <br /> <br />2. Said improvement is 'hereby de.signated Street <br />Surfacing Impr.ovement1970-1. <br /> <br />:3 . Milner \f. Carley & Associates is hereby <br />designated as engineer tor the improvement. They shall <br />prepare plans and specifications tor the making of such <br />improvement. <br />
