August 13, 2008

City of Centerville:

Thank you for your consideration of our request to build our shed within the
easement at 7317 Brian Drive.

When we purchased the property just over 5 years ago, we knew we would
eventually have to replace a temporary metal shed located in the northwest
corner of the yard. We noted that several shed's in the area are within 30-40 feet
from the west property line which would be in the Great River Energy easement.
We noted prior to our purchase that it looked possible to put a shed in that corner
of our property.

We paid for a landscaping plan for our back yard designed to include the future
shed. We have paid for and installed a descent amount of money in trees and
landscaping based upon locating the shed in the Northwest corner of the yard.
So basically, we have planned our entire yard around the location of this future
shed. Since our temporary metal shed has been damaged by recent storms we
are faced with the need of replacing it in order to keep our un-appealing junk
contained instead of sitting out in the yard.

If we put the new shed up outside this easement it would either be sitting just
behind the Deck on the rear of the house or in the front yard. so we are
requesting to put it twenty-five feet in from the west property line which would be
twenty-feet from the eastern most power line.

We appreciate your consideration of this request and understand the
responsibility we may have being within this easement.

~i erely, L
CZtiV

Cr 19 & Barbara Ankrum
7317 Brian Drive
Centerville, MN 55038

16
