City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting <br />July 23, 2008 <br />Councilmember Paar stated that he has a copy of the budget detail, if anyone would like <br />to see it. <br />Mayor Capra inquired as to what would be the costs to hiring the person, with the Grant <br />and without the Grant. <br />Councilmember Paar replied that, based on a salary of $63,000 per year, and a Grant of <br />$39,000, they would have funding for four years. He stated that, by the end of the four <br />years, the City would have time to budget for that person. The cost of his salary would <br />be split three ways for the three cities involved. It is in their budget, based on getting the <br />Grant. If they do not get the Grant, they could possibly hire the person half way through <br />the year. <br />6. Anoka County Local Government Meeting <br />Mayor Capra stated she RSVP'd on July 23 2008 to attend the Anoka County Local <br />Government Meeting. She stated that, usually, most of eastern Anoka County does not <br />attend <br />7. City Council Work Session Meeting <br />Mayor Capra announced that, after a brief break, a City Council Work Session Meeting <br />will follow adjournment of the July 23, 2008, City Council Meeting. <br />X. ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Councilmember Broussard-Vickers, seconded by Council Member Paar, <br />to adiourn the July 23, City Council Meeting. All in favor.
