<br />Recycling - Integrated Waste Management - Anoka County, MN <br /> <br />Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br />How to use the Household Hazardous Waste Facility <br /> <br />The site is for use by Anoka County residents. Bring identification, such as <br />a driver's license, as proof of residency. <br /> <br />Before going to the site, you may want to use the Recycling Search page to <br />learn more about reduce/re-use/recycle/disposal options for your items. <br /> <br />Examples of what to bring to the HHW facility: <br /> <br />Aerosol cans that have contents remaining, antifreeze, driveway <br />sealer, gasoline and other fuels, mercury, paint (liquid only), paint <br />stripper, paint thinner, pesticides, used motor oil, used oil filters, <br />varnish, wood preservatives, and other household products that <br />are corrosive, flammable, combustible or poisonous. <br /> <br />Do not bring: <br /> <br />Ammunition, appliances, asbestos, batteries, computers, <br />electronics, empty containers, fluorescent lamps, or tires. For <br />disposal options for these unacceptable materials, use the <br />Recycling Search page, or call Anoka County Integrated Waste <br />Management. Please remain in your vehicle until a technician assists <br />you. <br /> <br />Safe Transportation Tips: <br /> <br />Do not mix products. <br /> <br />Seal containers tightly to prevent leaks.
