Trail Grant Project - Approval of Budget for Surveying & Permit Process
(Bonestroo)

City Engineer Statz stated that he would like to get the first steps taken on the Trail Grant
Project, because federal funds are time-line driven. He stated that the first step would be
doing the survey, and the second step would be the Project Memorandum, that would look
at environmental issues, what the impacts would be, and how to handle them. He added
that trails have to meet ADA requirements, because this is a Federal project.

Mayor Capra inquired whether they could use park dedication fees, which were paid to the
City by developers, for the engineering fees.
