<br />City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting <br />October 8, 2008 <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that there was a memo in the Councilmembers' packets, <br />outlining a proposal regarding the remaining SCORE funds. This proposal would apply <br />the remaining SCORE funds to Centerville residents' statements, giving each resident a <br />one-time credit of approximately $7.34. City Administrator Larson stated that the exact <br />amount would be confirmed when we are certain that all bills are paid. <br /> <br />VIII. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Res. #08-0xx. - Authorizing the Finance Director to Transfer Funds <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that this is a housekeeping-type of action to close out <br />inactive funds. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Lee. seconded bv Council Member Lakso. to aoorove <br />Res. #08-0XX - Authorizinl! the Finance Director to transfer funds to close out <br />inactive funds. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. Res. #08-0XX - Authorizing the Finance Director to Transfer Funds to Close Out <br />Inactive Funds <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that, again, this would be done to close out inactive <br />funds. <br /> <br />Motion made bv Council Member Lee. seconded bv Council Member Lakso. to <br />aoorove Res. #08-0XX - Authorizinl! the Finance Director to transfer funds to close <br />out inactive funds. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />3. Parks & Recreation Committee Recommendation to Authorize Centennial Lakes <br />Youth Hockey Assoc. Use of Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park Ice Rink for the <br />2008-2009 Season <br /> <br />Councilmember Lee stated that this is the same request the Centennial Lakes Youth <br />Hockey Association makes annually. The Parks and Recreation Committee recommends <br />authorization, with the stipulation that Centennial Lakes Youth Hockey Association takes <br />care of the rink and locks things up each time they are finished. <br /> <br />Motion made bv Council Member Lee. seconded bv Council Member Broussard- <br />Vickers. to authorize Centennial Lakes Youth Hockev Association to use the Laurie <br />LaMotte Memorial Park Ice Rink for the 2008-2009 Season. with the stioulation that <br />they take care of the rink and lock thinl!s uo each time they are finished.
