Mowing <br />Mowing next to a wetland can cause 7 times the phosphorus and 18 times the sediment to enter the <br />wetland. Centerville's ordinance 4 protects wetlands (see letter below). The person mowing DOES NOT <br />HAVE PERMISSION TO MOW. IT IS NOT HIS PROPERTY! But he keeps doing it anyway. If the city <br />reall intends to rotect its water resources, it needs to do something about this.
