<br />City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting <br />December 10, 2008 <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Lee, seconded by Councilmember Paar, to approve <br />Ordinance #26. Second Series - Chapters 91. 92 and 94. as discussed. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />11. Ordinance #XX, Second Series - Chapters 110, 111. 112, 113, 114, 118 & 120 <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser stated that a number of changes are being made, regarding the <br />application process, background checks and certain criteria, to make them all uniform. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Broussard-Vickers. seconded by Councilmember Paar. to <br />table Ordinance #XX. Second Series - Chapters 110. 111. 112. 113. 114. 118 & 120. <br />All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />12. Ordinance #XX, Second Series - Chapter 130 <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser stated that this Ordinance changes some regulations regarding the <br />discharge of firearms. He stated that they also took out some penalty clauses at the end. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Broussard-Vickers. seconded by Councilmember Lakso. <br />to table Ordinance #XX. Second Series - Chapter 130. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />13. Proposal for Use of Old Public Works Site (7087 - 20th Avenue South) for <br />Restoration of 1950 Studebaker Fire Truck <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson and Mayor Capra recommended tabling this proposal until <br />additional information was obtained. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Lakso. seconded by Councilmember Broussard-Vickers. <br />to table Proposal for Use of Old Public Works Site (7087 - 20th Avenue South) for <br />Restoration of 1950 Studebaker Fire Truck. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />14. Anoka County Joint Law Enforcement Joint Powers Agreement <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that the Staff feels Centerville should be part of this <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser stated that this is not the best Agreement, but politically they are not <br />in a position to change it. <br /> <br />Page 9 of 11 <br />
