<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 412.191, Subdivision 4, and 331A.Ol <br />Subdivision 10, the City Council, by a vote of at least 4/5 finds that a summary of ordinances <br />passed by this Body is necessary for the orderly notification of said ordinances to the public; and <br />this Body hereby approves the following text for summary publication of ordinances: <br /> <br />****** BEGINNING OF SUMMARY TEXT APPROVED FOR PUBLICATION ****** <br /> <br />SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS PASSED BY RESOLUTION 12/10/2008 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDINANCE #23, SECOND SERIES <br />CHAPTER 31: DEPARTMENTS, BOARDS. COMMISSIONS AND COMMITTEES <br />TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS: <br />Changes to Chapter 31: Amendment 31.01 to 31.02. <br />PURPOSE OF PROPOSED AMENDMENTS: <br />Recognize the dissolution of Economic Development Authority. <br />EXPLANATION OF SUBSTANTIVE AMENDMENTS: <br />Dissolve Economic Development Authority. <br /> <br />CHAPTER 32: GENERAL AUTHORIZATION <br />TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS: <br />Changes to Chapter 32: Addition of32.01. <br />PURPOSE OF PROPOSED AMENDMENTS: <br />Recognize State law changes. <br />EXPLANATION OF SUBSTANTIVE AMENDMENTS: <br />Authorizes background investigation of job applicants, employees, licensees, volunteers, and <br />others who have contact with City government. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDINANCE #24, SECOND SERIES <br />CHAPTER 71: PARKING REGULATIONS <br />TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS: <br />Changes to Chapter 31: Amendments 71.02, 71.99. <br />PURPOSE OF PROPOSED AMENDMENTS: <br />Recognize State law changes. <br />EXPLANATION OF SUBSTANTIVE AMENDMENTS: <br />Illegally parked cars can be towed and costs borne by responsible party.
