<br /> <br />1880 :Mdtll ,\'lrt!l!l, Ct'Iltc.,t'ctIli.', :\-t.'.\. 55038 <br /> <br />'r..:ta6!i.,licd 1,';::;,- <br /> <br />(is 1-4.:9--,2.Ll or 'Fa r 651--129..8629 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />Res. #08-017 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING <br />PREP ARA TION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT AND CALLING FOR PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT OF PART OF OLD MILL ROAD. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a contract has been let and costs have been determined the improvement of <br />Old Mill Road from a point approximately 200 feet north of Revoir Street to the north <br />city limits by installation of watermain, sanitary sewer, street pavement, curb, storm <br />sewer and related drainage improvements, and the contract price for the improvement is <br />$297,495, and the expenses to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to <br />$ 116,537 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $414,032 <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the city is hereby declared <br />to be $ -0- and the portion to be assessed against benefiting property is declared to be <br />$414,032. <br /> <br />2. The City Administrator, with the assistance of the consulting engineer shall forthwith <br />calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against <br />every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard <br />to cash valuation, as provided by law and in accordance with the adopted assessment <br />policy of the City, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office <br />for public inspection. <br /> <br />3. A hearing shall be held on the 9th day of July, 2008, in city hall at 6:30 p.m. to pass <br />upon the proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property <br />affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference <br />to such assessment. <br /> <br />4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed <br />assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to <br />the hearing and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement.
