Pa:{(651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # 05-049 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ASSESSING FEES ASSOCIATED WITH THE CITY <br />RECOUPING ITS COSTS FOR PUBLIC WORKS' CLEANUP OF THE <br />PROPERTY KNOWN AS 6923 TOURVILLE cmCLE, CENTERVILLE, <br />MINNESOTA (PIN #R23-31-22-31-0018) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City requested that the property owner abate debris (ladders, hoses, <br />lawn mowers, etc.) (Nuisance) from the property on numerous occasions (January 21, <br />2005, December 14,2004, and July 30,2004); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City provided proper notification of the above requests along with the <br />appeal process (via certified mail); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City provided proper notification of its right to reimburse itself for the <br />associated cleanup costs through the 429.101 process if said violation was not abated <br />within its given timeframe and Council ordered its cleanup on February 11, 2005; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the owner of the property was given proper notification of a public hearing <br />(October 12, 2005) to consider the assessment of $627.50 to be placed on the property <br />taxes of PIN #R23-31-22-3I-00 18 payable in 2006. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) That the Finance Director or the City Clerk of the City of Centerville forward this <br />resolution to the Anoka County Property Tax Division for the assessment of <br />$627.50 to be placed on PIN #R23-3I-22-3I-00I8 payable in 2006 for <br />expenditures associate with the cleanup at the residence on February 11,2005. <br /> <br />Adopted by the City Council of Centerville on October 26, 2005. <br /> <br />c-r;1 Cf.-W (2( P /7:/ <br />Mayor, ~aty Chpra <br /> <br />~~!!~~~%d'~ <br /> <br />City Clerk, Teresa Bender <br />
