Pa:{(651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # 05-048 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING HOOK-UP CHARGE TO MOUND TRAIL <br />WATER AND/OR SEWER MAINS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City installed various street improvements that have not previously <br />been assessed and certain properties may request connection to municipal utilities not <br />previously assessed, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has paid for such improvements and incurred construction costs as <br />well as costs to finance such improvement. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The connection charge to recognize the value of unassessed water and sanitary <br />sewer mains constructed to serve properties, 1295-1405 Mound Trail is hereby <br />determined by the Council to be as follows: <br /> <br />Watermain...... ... ......... ...... ... ... ...... ... ... ..... $ 4,850* <br /> <br />* Amount is valid for connections made in 2005 and 2006 only. <br />Thereafter, the Council will adjust the connection fee to recognize the <br />ongoing carrying costs. <br /> <br />2) For splits and additional connections: <br />Sanitary Sewer... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... $ 7,000 * <br /> <br />* Amount is valid for connections made in 2005 and 2006 only. <br />Thereafter, the Council will adjust the connection fee to recognize the <br />ongoing carrying costs. <br /> <br />3) If a property owner wishes to have a service line extended from the main to the <br />property line, the City will arrange for that to be provided at the City's actual cost, <br />plus 12% for engineering supervision and administrative costs. The cost for the <br />service line shall be paid in the same manner as the connection charge. <br />
