CFaJ((651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-16 <br />SPRING LAKE PARK LIONS CHARITABLE GAMBLING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City ofCenterville met at its regularly scheduled meeting date of April 13, <br />2005; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Centerville City Council discussed the application from the Spring Lake Lions <br />to conduct charitable gambling at Kelly's Korner, 7098 Centerville Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville HAS conducted an investigation through the Gambling <br />Control Board of the State of Minnesota of the Spring Lake Lions Organization; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Spring Lake Lions would be in compliance with City Ordinance #51; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Spring Lake Lions appear to take into consideration the best interests of the <br />City of Centerville; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City ofCenterville hereby approves <br />charitable gambling (Pull-Tabs, Tipboards, Paddlewheel & Paddlewheel w/Table) by the Spring <br />Lake Park Lions at Kelly's Korner; <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Centerville City <br />Council on April 13, 2005. <br /> <br />M'1!2.~tayq~~CAJ <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />C-~~~ <br /> <br />Teresa Bender, City Clerk "'- <br />
