Centervirfe, 'Jvl'J{ 55038 <br />(651) 429-3232 . q:~(651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-012 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE TO ACT AS <br />A LEGAL SPONSOR FOR THE PROJECT IN THE OUTDOOR RECREATION <br />GRANT PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Centerville act as a legal sponsor for the project <br />contained in the Outdoor Recreation Grant Program Application to be submitted on <br />March 31, 2005 and that Mayor is hereby authorized to apply to the Department of <br />Natural Resources for funding of this project on behalf of City of Centerville. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that City of Centerville has a legal authority to apply <br />for financial assistance and financial capability to meet that match requirement and <br />ensure adequate construction, operation, maintenance and replacement of the proposed <br />project for its design life. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that City of Centerville has not incurred any costs <br />described on Item 5 and has not entered into a written purchase agreement for the <br />property described on Item 4. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon approval of its application by the state, City <br />of Centerville may enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota for the above- <br />referenced project, and that City of Centerville certifies that it will comply with all <br />applicable laws and regulations as stated in the grant agreement including dedicating the <br />park property for outdoor recreation uses into perpetuity. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Mayor is hereby authorized to execute <br />such agreements as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the applicant. <br /> <br />I CERTIFY THAT the above resolution was adopted by the City Council of City of <br />Centerville on March 23,2005. <br /> <br />SIGNED: <br /> <br />~Jr; OJI1' (l~ <br /> <br />Mayor, Mary Capra <br /> <br />'" <br /> <br />WITNESSED: <br />~ - / <br />.~ /#) .~?- <br /> <br />3-23-05 <br /> <br />City Clerk, Teresa Bender <br /> <br />3-23-05 <br />
