<br />75 <br /> <br />STORY. That portion of a building included between the surface of any floor and the surface of <br />the next floor above it, or if there is no floor above it, then the space between the floor and the ceiling <br />next above it. <br /> <br />STORY-HALF. That portion of a building under a gable, hip or gambrel roof, the wall plates of <br />which, on at least two opposite exterior walls, are not more than two feet above the floor of the story. <br /> <br />STREET ACCESS. A public thoroughfare which affords the principal means of abutting land. <br /> <br />STREET LINE. The legal line of demarcation between a street and abutting land. <br /> <br />STRUCTURAL ALTERATION. Any change in the supporting members of a building or <br />structure, such as bearing walls, columns, beams or girders; provided, however, the application of any <br />exterior siding to an existing building for the purpose of beautifying and modernizing shall not be <br />considered a STRUCTURAL ALTERATION. <br /> <br />STRUCTURE. Anything constructed or erected, the use of which requires a location on the <br />ground or attached to something having a location on the ground, or an attachment to something having <br />a fIxed location on the ground; including, in addition to buildings, billboards, carports, porches, decks <br />and other building features, but not including sidewalks, drives, swingsets, enclosed play structures <br />under 50 square feet, fences and patios. <br /> <br />SUBDIVISION. See subdivision chapter. <br /> <br />SUPPLY YARD. A commercial establishment storing or offering for sale building supplies, steel <br />supplies, coal, heavy equipment, feed and grain and similar goods. SUPPLY YARDS do not include <br />the wrecking, salvaging, dismantling or storage of automobiles and similar vehicles. <br /> <br />TOWNHOUSE. Single-family, attached units in structures housing three or more continuous <br />dwelling units, sharing a common wall, each having separate and individual front and rear entrances; <br />the structures being as of a row house type as distinguished from multiple-dwelling apartment <br />buildings. <br /> <br />TRA VEL TRAILERS. A mobile vehicle with wheels, designed for overnight living or camping <br />purposes, capable of being to~ed by a motor vehicle. <br /> <br />UNIT-MOBILE HOME PARK. A section of ground in a mobile home park of not less than 7,500 <br />square feet of unoccupied space in an area designated as the location for one mobile home, off-street <br />parking space for two automobiles and other uses considered pertinent to the establishment and use of a <br />mobile home residence as permitted by this chapter. <br />(Ord. 25, passed 10-13-1976) <br /> <br />75 <br />
