PC1:{(651) 429-8629 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05 - 009 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ABATEMENT OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS CERTIFIED <br />TO ANOKA COUNTY FOR PID #R23-31-22-34-0027 FOR THE YEAR 2005 - 2014 RELATING TO <br />THE HUNTERS CROSSING 2ND ADDmON, PHASE I MUNICIPAL SERVICES - OUTLOT B <br />PHEASANT MARSH OWNED BY GROUND DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Centerville City Council authorized the above stated project and special assessment roll; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the above stated improvement was financed in accordance with Minnesota Statute 429; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville gave proper notification of such; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Owner of PID #R23-31-22-34-0027 (Ground Development) has stated that they desire not to <br />build on said parcel, received no benefit from the improvements and Outlot B was utilized for the calculation of <br />Green Space associated with Pheasant Marsh, 1 st Addition and will remain as Open Space; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County Property Tax Division has acknowledged and certified $7,917.00 + Interest <br />($10,864.64) for the years 2005 - 2014; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council has directed the City Clerk or Finance Director to make a request of Anoka County to <br />abate the Hunters Crossing 2nd Addition, Phase 1 and benefited properties special assessment from the property <br />legally known as R23-31-22-34-0027; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CENTERVILLE, <br />MINNESOTA directed and authorized the City Clerk or Finance Director to forward Exhibit A to the County <br />of Anoka and requests that they abate the assessment from the property owner's records. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City ofCenterville this 9th day of February, 2005. <br /> <br />'-tYJ ~ (! g (ZY"" ./ <br />Mayor, Ma apra ~ <br /> <br />._.Attest: ~ ~ <br />C. ....-~7...K ~~ <br />City Clerk, Teresa Bender <br />
