All questianable requests shauld be referred ta the City <br />Administratar. <br /> <br />20.8 Political Activities <br /> <br />General: ~olitical activities which ar~ nat in vialatian .of state ~nd federal laws are <br />generally permitted. The fallawing palitical activities are prahibited far City <br />Emplayees: <br /> <br />A) City Emplayees may nat use any .official autharity .or influence far the purpase <br />.of affecting the result .of an electian nar may funds be salicited .or <br />cantributians received fram ather Emplayees far palitical purpases. <br /> <br />B) Na campaign materials, pampWets .or buttans may be displayed an City <br />vehicles, City praperty .or by an individual an the wark site, nar may they be <br />distributed by an emplayee during his warking haurs. <br /> <br />21. APPEARANCE AND ATTIRE POLICY <br /> <br />21.1 General <br /> <br />The attire and the appearance .of City Emplayees have a direct reflectian an the <br />professianalism in the delivery .of City services. City Emplayees are required ta meet <br />the general public an a daily basis as part .of their regular wark assignment and as <br />such, a nearly attired City Emplayee presents a pasitive image bath .of themselves <br />and the City .of Centerville. <br /> <br />When deciding an apprapriate wark attire, City Emplayees shall emplay saund <br />discretian in their decisians as clathing needs vary by jab functian and safety. These <br />cansideratians shauld be based an jab safety, City image, and persanal hygiene. The <br />fallawing is nat cansidered apprapriate attire in mast wark settings and will nat be <br />permitted: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Tube taps, halter taps, tank taps, muscle shirts; <br />Sweats .or wark aut clathing; <br />Tight, bady-hugging clathing; <br />Sharts; <br />Clathing that is revealing and causes a distractian; <br />Cia thing that is faded, warn .or in disrepair. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The City Administratar will be respansible far determining if attire is apprapriate. <br />Emplayees wha have questians cancerning appropriate wark attire shauld direct <br />them ta the City Administratar.
