RESOLUTION 95-17 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CENTERVILLE RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS: the City has ordered preparation of Plans and Specifications and has obtained construction estimates for the improvements by extension of municpal sewer, water and related appurtenances and the cost of such improvements is $113.662.00 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $113,662 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $113,662. WHEREAS: the City has recinded their motion to pass Resolutions 95-15 and 95-16 with replacement of Resolutions 95-17 and 95-18. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: 1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the city is hereby declared to be $0 (zero) and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $113,662. 2. Assessments shall be payable in semi annual installments extending over a period of five (5) years, the first of the installments to be payable on November 15 and April 15 of each year and shall bear the interest at the rate of 6.6% per annum from the date of the adoption of the assessment resolution. 3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the consulting city engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land equally within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. 4. The Clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment, notify the council thereof.
