The Authority <br />is comprised of two appointed members from the business or residential community with <br />an interest in promoting, retaining and attracting businesses to Centerville. Council <br />members also serve on the Authority. The EDA has brought business owners together <br />for discussion, brainstorming and input regarding the climate of operating a business <br />within the community. You may or may not be aware that the EDA has been responsible <br />for organizing recent events such as "Cougar Dash far Cash", "Bobber Contest" and our <br />latest -assistance with the Pazks & Recreation Committee 8K rEU~lwalk scheduled in <br />August (partnership/sponsorship letter enclosed). The Authority meets as needed. If this <br />sounds interesting to you and you would like to become a part of the Authority, please <br />complete the application an the back side of this form and return it to City Hall prior to <br />February 15, 2009 to be considered. This is not aFull-Time position and you will receive <br />$20 per meeting. <br />
