<br />Parks & Recreation Committee <br />Meeting Minutes 02-04-09 <br /> <br />Tree Removal at Ea21e Park <br /> <br />Vice-Chairperson Amundsen said he was supposed to meet the DNR Forester from Carlos Avery two <br />weeks ago at Eagle Park, but the Forester did not show up or return Vice-Chairperson Amundsen's calls, <br />so he is just waiting to hear back from him. That was during the time it was really cold. Hopefully there <br />will be more information at the next committee meeting. <br /> <br />Fete des Lacs 2009 Centerville Lake 8K Run/Walk <br /> <br />Neither Committee Member Branch nor Committee Member Lee were able to attend the meeting so the <br />discussion on the 8K RunlWalk was relatively short, focusing on the design for the T-Shirts and water <br />bottles that Vice-Chairperson Amundsen has been working on with Committee Member Lee. The <br />committee was supplied with a copy of the letter sent out to all businesses in the area describing the 8K <br />RunlWalk and what types of opportunities the committee has for sponsorship and advertising. The <br />committee questioned whether fliers can be printed and folded at City Hall at perhaps 1,000 - 1,500 <br />copies. <br /> <br />Reminder: Skate Night at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park - Saturday, February 14,2009 from 6- <br />9 p.m. Horse Drawn Hayride will be from 6 - 8 p.m. <br /> <br />VII.
