<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of <br />Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />December 14, 198J in City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called <br />the meeting to order at 7100 PM. Present were Baumann, <br />Wilharber and Zimny. Ayers arrived 15 minutes later. <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Baumann to approve minutes <br />of November 15, 198J meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Complaint has been received by <br />Mayor that W & G Rehbein are filling in pond on their <br />property without permit; clerk had called Gordon Rehbein <br />and he said they were just leveling area making a parking <br />facility for their equipment. Clerk was to call Building <br />Inspector and have him make an on-site inspection and <br />report to clerk. <br /> <br />Discussion on the Hospital Board representative. Clerk <br />has received two letters of intent; Any Neal, 1209 Main <br />Street, Lino Lakes and Norman Fritchie, 16J7 Peltier <br />Lake Drive, Centerville. Motion by Wilharber, second <br />by Baumann to appoint Norman Fritchie the Centerville <br />representative on the District Memorial Hospital Board <br />effective immediately and to fulfill term expiring December <br />31, 1984, motion carried. Clerk will advise Hospital <br />Administrator and our representative and send letter of <br />thanks to Mr. Neal. <br /> <br />Items two and three under old business were tabled until <br />further no tice. <br /> <br />Frank Zimny advised council one mite team would be using <br />Centerville rink on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at <br />6:00 - 7.JO PM. Chairman Koch of Parks and Recreation <br />has been informed of this by Mr. Zimny. <br /> <br />Motion by Baumann, second by Zimny to authorize Fire <br />Department to spend $500. out of 1984 budget for purchase <br />of a Jeep, motion carried. <br /> <br />Royal Meadows/AI L'Allier/ Robert Houle discussion followed. <br />Mayor abstained from the floor and acting mayor Wilharber <br />presided over meeting. Attorney Hawkins handed out a <br />letter to council from L'AllieriHoule attorneys explaining <br />the problems L'Allier/Houle have been experiencing since <br />1980 and their solution to the problem. Copy of letter <br />is attached to and made a part of these minutes and also <br />on file with clerk. After lengthy discussion, motion by <br />Wilharber, second by Zimny for council to hold a closed <br />session for purpose of discussing this legal problem on <br />Monday, December 19th at 5:00 PM in City Hall, motion <br />carried. Mayor L'Allier will not be chairing meeting, <br />acting mayor Wilharber will preside. <br /> <br />Joanne Gallaher of Jamb Architects of Forest Lake made a <br />
