<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the city council of <br />Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, August <br />10, 198J in City Hall. Mayor Savela called the meeting to <br />order at 8:00 PM. Present were: Baumann, L'Allier, Wilharber <br />and Zimny. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Baumann to approve minutes of <br />July 27, 198J meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Persons at Twin Lakes Pavilion <br />did not like the idea of a special meeting called to discuss <br />softball tournaments and they were not informed of it; brush <br />on Heritage Street; fence on city lot on Cedar Street put up <br />by someone to keep cattle in area should be removed or make <br />arrangements with city about placement; weeds along city right- <br />of-way need to be cut; Mayor to call Pat Fruth or Dan Tourville <br />to see if they are interested in cutting them; pot holes on <br />Mill Road need to be fixed; Harvey to get some limerock for <br />filling them. <br /> <br />Discussion on M.E.E.D. Act which creates jobs for temporary <br />employment. Clerk to fill out application for Parks and <br />Rec Coordinator and send to Anoka County Training Center. <br /> <br />Mayor is to purchase roof coating for Harvey to repair roof. <br /> <br />One offer was submitted for city tractor of $350.; not accept- <br />able and clerk is to call Beisswengers to see if they repair <br />tractors and price for same. <br /> <br />Discussion on Solidification proposal for manhole/sewer <br />line repair. Motion by L'Allier, second by Wilharber to <br />accept engineer recommendations to have Solidification <br />soil solidify manholes and TV and seal leaks at a cost of <br />$7,884.60, motion carried. Motion by L'Allier, second by <br />Baumann to pay Solidification one half of $7,884.60 wpon <br />completion and balance at $1,000 a month at 6% interest <br />until fully paid and borrow $7,884.60 from the First State <br />Bank of Hugo on a two-year loan, motion carried. <br /> <br />Final plat of Raven Industrial Park was presented to council. <br />Council discussed engineer and P & Z recommendations. <br />Motion by L'Allier, second by Wilharber to approve final <br />plat of Raven Industrial Park contingent on the three <br />recommendations of Engineer: <br /> <br />A copy of the Rice Creek Watershed Permit should <br />be on file with the City. <br />The City and Developer should have a signed <br />Developer's Agreement along with a bond. <br />No building will be allowed on Lots 8 and 9, <br />Block 1 until 21st Street is constructed. <br />(Mr. Karth added Lot 7 to engineer's #J.) <br />also issue a grading permit to developer, motion carried. <br /> <br />(1) <br />(2) <br />( J) <br /> <br />and <br />
