<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />June 8, 198J in City Hall. Mayor Savela called the meeting <br />to order at 8:10 PM. Present were; Baumann, L'Allier, <br />Wilharber, Zimny, Attorney Burke and Engineer Williams. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to approve minutes <br />of May 25, 198J meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Weed problems in various parts <br />of city, paEking lot in park needs attention, Floyd Kruger <br />resigned as Chairman of Parks and Recreation, notice <br />should be sent out for P & R meeting 2nd Monday in July; <br />July 11th at 8:00 PM. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: Open Burning Ordinance tabled until later <br />on in meeting. <br /> <br />Midwest Pavement Letter - discussed by council. Motion <br />by Wilharber, second by L'Allier to put off the road <br />testing for the present time, motion carried. <br /> <br />Letter from Walt Williams was discussed concerning the <br />inspection done of the sewer lines for infiltration. <br />Costs for repair were noted by Engineer and he was requested <br />to get quote from various firms and repart at next meeting. <br /> <br />Prices on street sign for 20th and ~ain Street and Bump <br />Sign for Peltier Lake Drive was discussed. Clerk to check <br />with County on Bump Sign price and report at next meeting. <br />Motion by Zimny, second by Wilharber to order the 20th and <br />Main Street sign, motion carried. <br /> <br />Building Inspector has reported that two garages under <br />construction on Shad Avenue conform to our Ordinance #4. <br /> <br />Letter from City of Lino Lakes was discussed concerning <br />quote for mowing park area. Council would also like to <br />receive quote from Dan Tourville for same. Motion by <br />Zimny, second by L'Allier to award Dan Tourville the <br />jOb of cutting of ballfield and park until future notice, <br />motion carried. Motion by Wilharber, second by Baumann <br />to purchase a smaller type mower for trimming, not to <br />exceed $200., motion carried. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS I <br /> <br />Letter was discussed from Walt Williams concerning <br />resident on Peltier Lake Drive draining his runoff under <br />the electrical controls of the lift station. Jim Husnick <br />was in audience and advised matter would be taken care <br />of shortly. <br /> <br />Clerk read Resolution between the County of Anoka and <br />City regarding Community Development Block Grant program <br />monies. Motion by Baumann, second by Wilharber to adopt <br />Resolution as read, motion carried. Copy of Resolution <br />is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br />
