<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />Centerville held their Wednesday, November 23 meeting on Friday <br />November 25 due to the weather, in City Hall. Mayor L'Allier <br />called the meeting to order at 7.00 PM. Present were Baumann, <br />Wilharber and Zimny. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Baumann to approve minutes of <br />the November 9, 1983 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk administered oath of office to Michael Ayers, newly <br />appointed councilman to fill vacancy of Leon L'Allier, term <br />to expire December 31, 1984. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: truck not working, advised Harvey <br />to take truck to Apitz Garage for repair. <br /> <br />Motion by Zimny, second by Wilharber to contract with Andy <br />Cardinal, Jr., for plowing snow on an on-call basis for the <br />front of city building, garage housing fire trucks, parking <br />lot on Sorel Street between city building and Dorscher home and <br />the skating rink, motion carried. <br /> <br />Hospital representative from Centerville on District Memorial <br />Hospital board tabled until next meeting. <br /> <br />21st Street improvement item tabled until next meeting. <br /> <br />Park fee for Raven Industrial Park tabled until next meeting. <br /> <br />Clerk informed City Council of Walt Williams leaving Carley <br />and Associates and Larry Winner will be our city engineer <br />until end of 1983. Council requested letter be sent Walt <br />Williams thanking him for the years of service to the City <br />of Centerville. <br /> <br />Hockey representative not present - Frank will see if he can <br />contact a representative to be at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Discussion held on the hose that the rink attendants will be <br />using for flooding the skating rink. <br /> <br />Motion by Baumann, second by Zimny to allow Fire Department <br />to purchase 100' of 4" ho se for $pOO., mo tion carried. <br /> <br />The following liquor license applications were submitted for <br />approval as follows: <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Baumann to approve license <br />applications for Kelly's Bar, 7098 Centerville Road: On Sale <br />Liquor, Off Sale Liquor, Sunday Liquor, Off-Sale Non-Intoxicating <br />Liquor and Cigarette license, motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by A~ers to approve license <br />applicat10ns for Ed s Trio Inn, 7082 Centerville Road: <br />
