<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, April <br />13, 1983 in City Hall. Mayor Savela called the meeting to <br />order at 7:00 PM. Present were: Baumann, L'Allier, Wilharber <br />and Zimny. Motion by Wilharber, second by Baumann to approve <br />minutes of March 23, 1983 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Several complaints voiced on <br />policing, road conditions, cars parked on Mill Road, <br />animal nuisances and student drivers from 916 on Mill Road. <br /> <br />Harvey Karth, representing Glenn Rehbein, appeared before <br />council with request for lot split as approved by P & Z on <br />April 5, 1983. Clerk read minutes of P & Z meeting on April <br />5th. Motion by L'Allier, second by Zimny to approve split <br />of swi of Nwi of Section 24, Township 31, Range 22 West <br />(40 acres) into two 20 acre parcels with legals as follows: <br /> <br />N! of swi of Nwi of Section 24, Township 31, Range 22 <br />west, and <br />S! of SW:t of NWi of Section 24, Township 31, Range 22 <br />west <br />and to change the sewer service area from the swi of NWt <br />of Section 24, Township 31, Range 22 west to the N! of swt <br />of NWt of Section 24, Township 31, Range 22 west, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Letter from NSP on conversion of overhead street lights <br />was discussed. Additional information is needed for making <br />decision on same and clerk will report at next meeting. <br /> <br />Walt Williams was in attendance to discuss street conditions. <br />Letter from Engineer and map used during reviewal is on file <br />with City Clerk. After discussion of problem, consensus of <br />council was (1) call County concerning assistance on Mill <br />Road; (2) Walt to contact Midwest Pavement Management <br />regarding appearance before council to discuss procedures <br />and costs involved in a surveyor method of repairing our <br />city streets; (3) order some coal mix and fix pot holes. <br /> <br />Chief Myhre appeared before council to answer questions from <br />council and audience on weighing of overload trucks, cars <br />parking on city streets between hours of 3:00 AM - 7:00 AM, <br />dog problems in the city, three wheelers and parking at <br />Pavilion. <br /> <br />Messrs. Granger and Husnick were in attendance concerning <br />Peltier Lake Hills #2 sewer extension request. Motion by <br />L'Allier, second by Zimny to request the MWCC to approve a <br />sewer extension in Peltier Lake Hills #2 to cover 4.9 acres <br />or 8 lots in the plat, motion carried. <br /> <br />Fire Chief Englund advised council of figure to be used for <br />the fire service contract with Lino Lakes. The total for <br />1983 would be $20,898.28 fee or $5,224.57 quarterly payment. <br />
