<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />October 24, 1984 in City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the <br />meeting to order at 7.00 PM. Present: Ayers, Baumann, <br />Wilharber and Zimny. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Baumann to approve the minutes <br />of the October 10, 1984 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS. None <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS, Motion by Baumann, second by Ayers to send <br />two people from the Planning & Zoning Committee to the <br />Annual Planning Institute for Planning Commissioners and <br />Elected Officials, motion carried. Clerk will notify <br />Planning & Zoning Committee members. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to send letter to <br />residents on Mound Trail to see if they are interested in <br />having two street lights put up, motion carried. <br /> <br />Summer Recreation Committee member tabled until November 14 <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Update by Mayor, Councilmen and Des Englund on Fire Commission <br />meeting of October 22, 1984. Motion by Ayers, second by Baumann to <br />have Des Englund work with the Clerk on a letter for Leons <br />signature to the City of Lino Lakes, copies to the City of <br />Circle Pines & the Fire Commission members, outlining the <br />understandings the City of Centerville has of the October <br />22, 1984 meeting and requesting a response of their intent <br />by our next council meeting on November 14, 1984, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mike Ayers will not be able to make the November 20, 1984 <br />Citizens 509 Task Force of the Rice Creek Water Shed meetng. <br />Council felt a single representative would be ok for that <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Peter Buesseler updated the Co~il on the Technical Advisory <br />Committee of the Rice Creek Water Shed. To date they have <br />received mostly technical information. They will be receiving <br />their policies and objectives next. <br /> <br />Hunting will be put on the November 14 agenda in order to <br />allow more people to be involved. Clerk will request Hal <br />Leibel and Maureen Aslesen attend the meeting to discuss the <br />proposal they submitted. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: Motion by Baumann, second by Wilharber to <br />reduce Royal Meadows letter of credit from $315,000.00 to <br />$37,500.00 per the city engineer Larry Winner's recommendation, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Baumann to adjust the load limits <br />of Peltier Lake Drive and Mill Road to 5 tons per axle until <br />spring when the 3 ton load limits go into effect, motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Clerk will check into signs for 5ton load limits. <br />
