<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, July 11, <br />1984 in City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the meeting to order <br />at 7100 PM. Presente Ayers, Baumann and Zimny. Absente <br />Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by Baumann, second by Ayers to approve the minutes of <br />the June 27, 1984 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: dust problem on Peltier Lake Drive, <br />willows growing on edge of pavement on Peltier Lake Drive, <br />stones loose on Peltier Lake Drive, alternator on truck needs <br />checking, color of MCI tower, clerk to check on getting two <br />signs for Peltier Lake Drive; either NOT A THROUGH STREET or <br />LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY. <br /> <br />Engineer handed out material on three items he has checked on. <br />Item #1 concerned ditches in Center Oaks. One ditch was full <br />of grass clippings and the culvert needed to be cleaned out. <br />Anoka County will take care of this culvert. The two culverts <br />in the plat on city streets also need cleaning and requested <br />maintenance man to take care of these culverts. <br /> <br />Item #2 concerned drainage problem between 1343 and 1355 Mound <br />Trail. Engineer recommended swale be graded on lot line <br />between 1355 and 1369 Mound Trail. Engineer and clerk are <br />going to review material on LeRoux Addition before any <br />action is taken. <br /> <br />Item #3 concerned water collection by and between 7246 and <br />7254 Mill Road. Engineer stated two solutions but is going <br />to check with adjoining property owner about putting in swale <br />going North across back of properties and give the council <br />a cost estimate on same. <br /> <br />Raymoume Houle appeared before council stating plans the <br />Lions Club have for improvements in the city park. Informed <br />council of Lions Steak Fry to be held on Sunday, July 17, <br />between 12:30 and 5130 in Kelly's Park. Motion by Baumann. <br />second by Zimny to grant a 3.2 Beer Permit to the Centerville <br />Lions Club for their steak fry on Sunday, July 17. 1984 in <br />Kelly's Park, motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Baumann to approve permanent <br />easement for storm water drainage purposes in the Rehbein <br />Estates plat between developer Gerald Rehbein and City of <br />Centerville, motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk read ,letter of chairman of St. Genevieve's pic~ic <br />requesting 3.2 beer permit. bingo permit and the rop1ng off <br />of one block of Goiffon Street and safety purposes. Motion <br />by Zimny, second by Baumann to grant 3.2 Beer permit, bingo <br />permit to St. Genevieve's Church for their annual picnic <br />on Sunday, August 19, 1984, motion carried. <br />
