<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, June 27, 1984 <br />in City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the meeting to order at <br />7:00PM. Present were: Ayers, Baumann, Wilharber and Zimny. <br />Motion by Zimny, second by Wilharber to approve the minutes of the <br />June i), 1984 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS <br />Wilharber received complaints on speeders in the City. Police <br />have been cracking down on the problem. <br />Ayers received complaint from Trippels on police response time <br />in a recent incident at Trippel's Market. The Circle Pines <br />police had to be called in to handle the problem. Ayers felt <br />need to monitor police situation to be sure we're getting 20% <br />more coverage. <br />Mayor received complaint on drainage problem at 7254 Mill Road. <br />Clerk will have engineer check it out. <br />Complaint received on rat problem at 1540 Peltier Lake Drive, <br />Zimny confirmed problem. Clerk will contact Anoka County Health Dept. <br />and Building Inspector if need be. <br />Complaint received on mess at 1567 Peltier Lake Drive. Clerk <br />will contact police on car registration, and contact Building <br />Inspector tn check on yard and area. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />1. Mr. Karth had already paid park fee of $)484.00 for Raven Industrial <br />Park, so he wasn't at the meeting. Plat was signed. <br />2. Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to appoint Jerry Sundberg <br />and Ronald Murray to the Joint Powers Commission, motion carried. <br />). Motion by Ayers, second by Zimny to send letter of appreciation <br />to Margaret Langfeld, motion carried. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />1. Motion by Baumann, second by Wilharber to approve Northwestern <br />Bell request for buried cable in the Royal Meadows development, <br />motion carried. <br />2. Clerk will check on building permit for MCI tower. Clerk will <br />also check on inspection fees for MCI tower, and send copies of <br />inspection agreemmnt to City Attorney. <br />J. Locks have been changed on ballfield behind school. City no longer <br />has keys. <br />4. Clerk will contact City Engineer on easement at Rehbein Estates, <br />and have him come to next meeting. . <br />5. Motion by Ayers, second b~ Wilharber to incr7ase Har~ey Cartier's <br />wages from $6.00 per hour to $7.00 per hour, mot10n carr1ed. ' <br />6. Motion by Wilharber, second by Ayers to establish employee. <br />review committee to identify wages and other benefits~ and reV1ew <br />Etnod <layEtlope emplo~e job desc~iptions; and conduct an employee <br />review prior to budget time, motmn carried. <br />7. Jerry Sundberg recapped the Joint Powers Commission meeting he <br />attended. They hope to have budget by September 1, 1984. Need an <br />alternate commission member from our City. <br /> <br />Motion by Baumann, second by Ayers to pay current claims, <br />motion carried. A copy of current receipts and disbursements <br />is attached to and made part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to adjourn meeting, <br />motion carried.
