<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, April 25, <br />1984 in City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the meeting to order <br />at 7:00 PM. Present were: Ayers, Baumann, Wilharber and Zimny. <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Baumann to approve the minutes <br />of the April 11, 1984 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Complaint voiced from Harold Leibel <br />on problems with fishermen on his property and requests a gate <br />put up by city lift station on Main Street and a fence erected <br />by Mr. Leibel to keep persons off his property. Mayor and <br />Zimny will look into complaint. <br /> <br />1984 insurance package for Centerville was presented to council. <br />Motion by Baumann, second by Ayers to accept proposal on city <br />insurance from Beulke Agency for 1984, motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk advised council that Northwestern Bell will be repairing <br />the telephone box on Heritage Street this summer and the <br />Engineer would like to be advised as to the previous problems <br />with the installation so they can be properly corrected. <br /> <br />Mr. Lee LaBore, attorney for Lake Sanitation appeared before <br />council with request for increase in refuse collection in <br />Centerville. Motion by Zimny, second by Baumann to approve <br />refuse collection rate of $7.50 per month curb side with $1.00 <br />senior citizen discount, $11.59 for back yard walk-in service <br />per month effective July 1, 1984 running until July 1, 1985, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Tabled lifting road restrictions until May 9th meeting. <br /> <br />Appraisals on impact of MCI tower in Centerville were presented <br />to council from Mrs. Drewlo/Tuckner and MCI/Airsignals. Matter <br />will be on May 9th agenda. <br /> <br />John Trippel from Trippel's Market, 1801 Main Street presented <br />council with letter concerning police protection in Centerville. <br />Council would like meeting on May 14 at 7:00 PM with Chief <br />Myhre, Councilman Marier of Lino Lakes, Ken Carpenter and <br />John Trippel to discuss matter. <br /> <br />Building Inspector to check water problems at 7277 Clearwater <br />Drive. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to approve current claims, <br />motion carried. Copy of current receipts and disbursements is <br />attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Baumann, second by Ayers to adjourn meeting, motion <br />carried.
