<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thenDf, the City Council <br />of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday <br />October 10, 1984, in City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called th~ <br />meeting to order at 7.00 PM. Present, Ayers, Baumann, <br />Wilharber, Zimny. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to approve the minutes <br />of the September 26 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS, A "Pending Action" file will be <br />included on the agenda for followup on City actions. <br /> <br />Clerk will write a letter to Mr. Ruud at the County Highway <br />Dept. and copy Margaret Langfeld, County Commissioner, to <br />get the pine trees trimmed on Brian and Main Streets. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: Motion by Zimny, second by Baumann to authorize <br />the Fire Dept. to buy needed equipment, given the Fire Chief <br />times the purchases so payment most closely matches the City's <br />ability to pay, Wilharber opposed, motion carried. <br /> <br />Mary Ayde, Lake Sanitation, will work with Mike Ayers in <br />coordinating a pick up of yard waste for composting on <br />Saturday, October 27. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to vacate that portion of <br />Westview Street North of Lot 6, Block 3, Centerville and North <br />of Clearwater Road (as vacated), motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk will contact Hal Leible and Maureen Aslesen to form <br />a citizen's comm~ttee on Hunting and make recommendations <br />they feel necessary to the council regarding that matter. <br /> <br />Clerk will send letter to residents on Mound Trail regarding <br />the installation of two street lights. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Baumann to appoint Mavis Solheid <br />as Deputy Clerk, motion carried. <br /> <br />Harvey will contact Dan Tourville to get Mill Road ~~RPltier <br />Lake Drive graded again. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS, Dr. Richard Weber addressed the council on the <br />summer recreation program. He needs a representative from <br />Centerville for the Centennial Community Education Committee. <br /> <br />Motion by Baumann, second by Wilharber to approve Resolution <br />#6 appointing election judges for the General Election. <br /> <br />Clerk will request the P & Z address old Ordinance #10 - keeping <br />of non-domestic animals, and make a recommendation to council. <br />It is preferred that recommendation be made as a separate <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />Clerk will check into class held by the Government Training <br />Service for P & Z people. <br /> <br />Motion by Baumann, second by Wilharber to pay current claims, <br />motion carried. Copy of current receipts and disbursements <br />attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br />
