<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of <br />Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, March 14, 1984 <br />in City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the meeting to order at <br />7:00PM. Present were: Ayers, B~umann, Zimny, Wilharber (arrived <br />7 : )0) . <br /> <br />Motion by Baumann, second by Aye s to approve minutes of February <br />22, 1984 meeting, motion carried <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS. The c uncil would like to request Peter <br />Buesseler's attendance at the Ap il 10, 1984 meeting to inform the <br />council on the activities of the Rice Creek Watershed District <br />Technical Advisory Committee. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Zimny to put a sign conforming to codes, <br />at the entrance of Center Oaks, ndicating children in the area - <br />slow down, motion carried. <br /> <br />Discussion on ice problem create <br />Mill Road. Reporters <br />e Quad Community Press will <br />e in their article on the March 14th <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: Motion by Bauman , second by Zimny to accept the <br />Assessment Agreement between Ce terville and Anoka County, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />Discussion on Jim Stevens request for variance. Mr. Stevens presented <br />letters from neighbors of the roperty he was requesting the <br />variance for, that were in favor of granting the variance. Other <br />residents in the audience expr ssed the feeling the way the <br />Ordinance was written, a hards ip needed to be shown in order to <br />grant the variance and was not shown by Mr. Stevens. Motion by <br />Baumann, second by Zimny to de y Mr. Stevens variance request to <br />put a duplex on Lot 8, Block 1, Rehbein Estates, motion carried. <br />
