<br />( <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereo~ the City Council <br />of Centerville held their regular meeting on November 2.5, <br />1985 at City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the meeting to <br />order at 7:00 P.M. Present: Ayers, Robischon, Zimny, <br />Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Ayers to approve the minutes <br />of the November 13, 198.5 meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAIN~S: <br />Jeff Speed will be moving a house onto the lot at 6923 <br />Pleasant Lane. He will be responsible for any curbing that <br />may be broken with this move, and he will have Harvey Cartier, <br />Public Works Director, on site when he does the moving. <br /> <br />Harvey Cartier will move the 3T per axle load limit sign <br />to the other side o~ the street where it will be more <br />visible. <br /> <br />Appearance of Mr. Michael Moreland, 1.540 Peltier Lake Drive. <br />Mr Moreland has filled two dumpsters with debris from his <br />property and feels that should be sufficient cleanup. The <br />council requested he also clean up two brush piles. Mr. <br />Moreland conceded to do so. <br /> <br />Clerk will request the Planning and Zoning Commission look <br />at the need for a cat ordinance. qlerk will get an example <br />from the City of Blaine. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to have a final round <br />of interviews with Maier-Stewart & Associates, Rieke-Carroll- <br />Muller Associates Inc., and Toltz-King-Duvall-Anderson on <br />December 9, 1985 at 7:00, 7:30 and 8:00 P.M. respectively, <br />motion carried unanimously. The format will be 15 minutes <br />presentation and 15 minutes question and answer period. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Robischon to table the acceptance <br />of the Fire Department ~quipment & Vehicle appraisal until <br />the December 11, 1985 Council meeting, allowing Circle Pines <br />time to act on it, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Robischon to send a letter to <br />Circle Pines, Li.no Lakes and Commission Chairman LaTuff <br />reflective of the 11-1.5-8.5 letter from Circle Pines and <br />identifying the need for the three cities and commission <br />to meet to resolve the Centennial Fire District budget for <br />1986, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Appearance of Margaret Langfeld, Anoka County Commissioner. <br />Mrs. Langfeld updated the council on the future development <br />of the Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park. $750,000 has been <br />allocated to development in 1986-1987. This development <br />would consist of: building at main entrance, 2 restrooms <br />at campground, showers at campground, power and water at <br />64 campsites, water well, central telephone, 60 picnic <br />tables - ~rill~ -.waste receptacles, campground signs, <br />grade & 011 eXlstlng class .5 roads in campground. The <br />development of the park is presently 3 - 5 years behind <br />schedule. Several questions of security were raised by <br /> <br />'~ <br />
