<br />( <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereo~, the City Council <br />of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />February 1), 1985, at City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called <br />the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. Present: Ayers, Robischon, <br />Zimny, Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to approve the minutes <br />of the January 2), 1985 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Complaint on dogs running loose <br />at night on the East end of town. <br /> <br />Complaint voiced by Art Mohler referencing the Rink Attendants <br />not opening the rink and warming house on time. People have <br />been left waiting. Leon L'Allier will talk to the Rink Atten- <br />dants. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS. Motion by Ayers, second by Robischon to amend <br />Ordinance No. 37 to read as follows. COMPENSATION. All <br />members of the Planning and Zoning Commission shall receive <br />an economic incentive of $10.00 per first regularly scheduled <br />meeting attended each month, motion carried. <br /> <br />r-- <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Robischon to rotate the Planning <br />and Zoning Liaison position among the council members each <br />month, motion carried. The initial schedule will be as <br />follows: Robischon - March, Ayers - April, Wilharber - May, <br />Zimny - June. Clerk will keep track of the schedule and <br />notify the council members. <br /> <br />Clerk will check on stop sign situation at County Road 14 and <br />Centervnle Road, and put on next meeting's agenda. <br /> <br />Road Committee Update by Art Mohler. The Committee has <br />outlined their goals for the coming year, and talked to a <br />few engineers about coming our and helping us with our road <br />problems without a preliminary cost to the City. They have <br />been looking into a newer procedure of using a mat as an <br />underlayment for roads built on our type of soil, and will <br />also be looking into methodsof controlling the dust this summer. <br />They will be having more meetings beginning in the Spring <br />when it begins to thaw. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS. Motion by Robischon, second by Zimny to adopt <br />Resolution No. 2 supporting an amendment of Minnesota Statute <br />to allow for the payment of pension benefits after 20 years <br />of service, motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Zimny to allow Dan Tourville attend <br />a workshop on Rezoning on March 7, 1985, motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk will contact the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency on <br />the Rental Rehabilitation Program for more information. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Robischon to table the pocket gopher <br />bounty issue until such time pocket gophers become a problem, <br />motion carried. <br /> <br />~. <br />
