<br />I <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. the City Council of <br />Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, January <br />9, 1985 at City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the meeting to <br />order at 7:00 P.M. Present: Ayers, Robischon, Zimny, Wilharber. <br /> <br />Clerk administered oaths of office to Mayor Leon L'Allier, <br />and to Councilman Richard Robischon. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Ayers to approve the minutes <br />of the December 26, 1984 meeting, motion carried. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Complaint on dogs running loose <br />on the East end of town. We have changed Animal Control <br />companies, but the animals still need to be contained before <br />they are picked up. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS. Appearance of Ivan Barott, 7121 Main Street, <br />referencing the construction of a 4' x 8' concrete structure <br />built by him on City property. He will pursue the vacation <br />of that property wi th the Ci ty Clerk.' Clerk will make clear <br />to Mr. Barott that even if the property is vacated, he will <br />still be on Church property. <br /> <br />Appearance of Ed Adams, Ed's Trio Inn, requesting councilman <br />Ayers to reintroduce an amendment allowing liquor establishments <br />to open at 10:00 A.M. on Sunday. Motion by Ayers, second by <br />RQbischon to amend Ordinance #13 to allow liquor establishments <br />to open at 10:00 A.M. on Sundays, roll call taken: Wilharber- <br />nay, Zimny-aye, Robischon-aye, Ayers-aye, L'Allier-aye, motion <br />carried. Comments from members of the audience on this matter. <br />Mary Jane Lang. 1559 Peltier Lake Drive, Ed Adams, 7084 <br />Centerville Road. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to renew <br />Ben Henrich's special use permit for another year at which <br />time it will be reviewed again, motion carried. <br /> <br />Discussion on letter from Larry Brokke.6795 - '20th Avenue, <br />Lino Lakes, requesting the City rezone the property described <br />as the East 740 feet of the south 265 feet of the BE * of the <br />SE i of Section 2), Township )1, Range 22 back to Commercial <br />now that Sunrise Plastics, Inc. has left the area. This <br />matter is referred back to the Planning and Zoning Committee <br />for a meeting with the petitioners and Gordon Rehbein to <br />determine what action to take, if any. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Zimny to approve Barry Matson as <br />chairman of the Centennial Fire District, motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />Clerk will send a letter to the Director of Environmental <br />Services, Robert Hutchison, thanking him for reque'sting our input <br />on the renewal of food, beverage, and lodging facilities for <br />1985; and asking him what the classification for the Twin Lakes <br />Pavillion in 1985-86 is, and if they have a period of time <br />when their kitchen is closed if they can still be open on <br />Sunday. <br /> <br />Clerk read resignation letter from Mel Dupre, and will send <br />him a thank you letter for his many yeats of service on the <br />Planning and Zoning Committee. <br /> <br />~ <br />
