<br />;- <br /> <br />Page Three - City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />September 25, 1985 <br /> <br />Meadows, Centerville Road, LaValle Drive, and Mound Trail <br />are coordinating their neighborhoods. Other neighborhoods <br />are encouraged to organize as well. <br /> <br />Discussion on Carley Engineering submitting a proposal <br />for their engineering services. It was decided they were <br />welcome to submit a proposal as well as any other firm. <br /> <br />Clerk will check into the costs of new City Limits signs. <br /> <br />Clerk will get prices on landscaping along the front of the <br />Ci ty Hall. <br /> <br />The scouts are unable to paint the skating rink this year. <br />It was decided not to paint it at all since it may be moved <br />to the City Park. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS. <br />Appearance of Bruce Wojak, Director of Anoka County Emergency <br />Services. He informed the Council of different types of <br />sirens and their costs available to the City. Clerk will <br />check with the City of Fridley and the City of St. Louis <br />Park on possibly. purchasing used sirens from them. Clerk <br />will also check with Federal and Lane Electric to get size <br />of siren needed and costs to hook them up. <br /> <br />Clerk will mention to the paper the County Park is open for <br />deer bow hunting until December 31, 1985. <br /> <br />Motion by Wi~harber, second by Robischon to pay current claims, <br />motion carried unanimously. A copy of the receipts and <br />disbursements is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />FINAL COMMENTS I <br />Harvey will repair the big hump in Mill Road by Trippels. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to adjourn meeting, <br />motioncarried unanimously.
