( j Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, June 26, 1985. Mayor L'Allier called the meeting to order at 7.05 P.M. Present. Robischon, Zimny. Absent. Ayers, Wilharber. Motion by Zimny, second by Robischon to accept the minutes of the June 12, 1~85 meeting, motion carried unanimously. PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS. Complaint received on the dust from the Anoka County Park Road. Clerk will contact Park Department to request something be done to resolve the dust problem. Complaint received from Steven King, 7085 Progress Road, on the volleyball being played at Ed's Trio Inn. The ball goes onto Mr. King's property. They have a dog and small child. They are concerned about the welfare of the child, and the possibility the dog may bite someone. Motion by Zimny, second by Robischon to have the clerk send a letter to Ed's Trio Inn notifying Mr. Adams of the problem, giving him )0 days to correct it with a fence, or advise the City Council how he plans to correct the situation. He will also be requested to cease playing volleyball until the problem is corrected, motion carried unanimously. r-.J ,>. OLD BUSINESS, Milner W. Carley & Associates met with our City Attorney in~reference to a response to the Rice Creek Watershed's letter of May )0, 1985. Our attorney is sending us a letter on this matter, so :the issue was tabled until next meeting. Motion by Robischon, second by Zimny to have the City Attorney send a letter of enforcement to the resident at 1567 Peltier Lake Drive to get his yard cleaned up, motion carried unanimously. Clerk will arrange a Softball Committee meeting on July 8, at 7.00 P.M.,at City Hall, with Debbie Dykema and the person running the tournaments for Twin Lakes Pavillion. #500 Revenue Bond tabled until July 24 meeting. Brief discussion on court summons - Joseph Pelton vs City of Centerville. The City of Centerville is requesting a continuance of the court date to properly prepare for defense, but hasn't received confirmation yet. The insurance company has advised the City to refrain from discussing the subject matter with anyone. Clerk will put the well at the ballfields on the Park & Rec agenda. The Fire Department would like overhead for their trucks. NEW BUSINESS. Motion by Zimny, second by Robischon to approve a permit to allow only consumption and display of intoxicating liquor for the House of Chu, motion carried unanimously. Motion by Robischon, second by Zimny to table the review of MCI's Special Use Permit until July 10 meeting, motion carried unanimously.
