<br />( <br />j <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville <br />held their regular meeting on Wednesday, June 26, 1985. Mayor <br />L'Allier called the meeting to order at 7.05 P.M. Present. <br />Robischon, Zimny. Absent. Ayers, Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by Zimny, second by Robischon to accept the minutes <br />of the June 12, 1~85 meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS. <br />Complaint received on the dust from the Anoka County Park <br />Road. Clerk will contact Park Department to request something <br />be done to resolve the dust problem. <br /> <br />Complaint received from Steven King, 7085 Progress Road, on <br />the volleyball being played at Ed's Trio Inn. The ball goes <br />onto Mr. King's property. They have a dog and small child. They <br />are concerned about the welfare of the child, and the possibility <br />the dog may bite someone. Motion by Zimny, second by Robischon <br />to have the clerk send a letter to Ed's Trio Inn notifying <br />Mr. Adams of the problem, giving him )0 days to correct it <br />with a fence, or advise the City Council how he plans to <br />correct the situation. He will also be requested to cease <br />playing volleyball until the problem is corrected, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />r-.J <br /> <br /> <br />,>. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS, <br />Milner W. Carley & Associates met with our City Attorney <br />in~reference to a response to the Rice Creek Watershed's <br />letter of May )0, 1985. Our attorney is sending us a letter <br />on this matter, so :the issue was tabled until next meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Zimny to have the City Attorney <br />send a letter of enforcement to the resident at 1567 Peltier <br />Lake Drive to get his yard cleaned up, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Clerk will arrange a Softball Committee meeting on July 8, <br />at 7.00 P.M.,at City Hall, with Debbie Dykema and the person <br />running the tournaments for Twin Lakes Pavillion. <br /> <br />#500 Revenue Bond tabled until July 24 meeting. <br /> <br />Brief discussion on court summons - Joseph Pelton vs City of <br />Centerville. The City of Centerville is requesting a <br />continuance of the court date to properly prepare for defense, <br />but hasn't received confirmation yet. The insurance company <br />has advised the City to refrain from discussing the subject <br />matter with anyone. <br /> <br />Clerk will put the well at the ballfields on the Park & Rec <br />agenda. The Fire Department would like overhead for their <br />trucks. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS. <br />Motion by Zimny, second by Robischon to approve a permit to <br />allow only consumption and display of intoxicating liquor <br />for the House of Chu, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Zimny to table the review of <br />MCI's Special Use Permit until July 10 meeting, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />
