February 12, 2009

City of Centerville
1880 Main Street
Centerville, MN 55038
Client Contact Person: Paul Patzer

Dear Paul,

Thank you for your business in past years. I have enjoyed worldng with you and look
forward to many good years ahead. Thank you for the opportunity, allowing me, to bid
on the lawn maintenance for this upcoming summer season. Our service will continue to
be the same service that you remember. Enclosed you will find a new contract with these
services listed out. Also if you are to look back in your records, you will see that we have
used pricing from the year 2000. Due to the economic issues we all are facing. I am doing
what I can to aid in budget cuts for your city. Although it is difficult to make a large
profit at this mte I too can tighten my belt in many areas. I will be passing this savings
on to you by offering mtes from the year 2000. The average hourly billing in the year
2000 was for 18 hours of work per week with the list provided from you and re-listed
below. I estimate the work to be 20 to 22 hours.

As you may recall I charged you per large mower per hour - I ganged the large mowers
together - this increased the productivity and allowed for efficient mowing in large areas
to complete the work in an extremely timely manner. The equipment is up to date, well
maintained, and operated at manufacturer's requirements.

The sites are as follows
1. Acorn Creek Park
2. Laurie McBride Park
3. 7212 Mill Road Lot
4. Royal Meadows Park
5. City Hall Site
6. Water Tower Site
7. Downtown Site
8. Hidden Springs Park
9. Laurie Lamotte Park
10. Eagle Park
11. Trail edges
12. Main Street Lot
13. Westview Lot
14. Any additions you may care to add

i( S-t~ d'> ,tl-

cl::'/:"j t<I""-4'C'...l",*
~i'> ir~lvlLeP
