The Federal stimulus funds granted through the PFA require Davis-Bacon wage <br />requirements as well as "Disadvantaged Businesses" requirements that were not initially <br />included in the specifications. An addendum was sent to bidders specifying the additional <br />requirements to be bid as an alternate, but in order to allow time for bidders to meet the <br />additional requirements, it was necessary to extend the bid date to April 14. <br />Motion by Council Member Paar and seconded by Council Member Lee that the <br />Council approve a revised bid date of April 14, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. for the remaining <br />2009 Street Project work. All in favor, motion passed unanimously. <br />Motion by Council Member Lee and seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher <br />that the Special Meeting of March 24, 2009 be adjourned.
