STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the City Council of the City of Centerville has <br />scheduled a public hearing on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 commencing at 6:30 p.m. or <br />shortly thereafter in Council Chambers located at 1880 Main Street, Centerville, MN. <br />The purpose of the public hearing is to consider adoption of and obtain input regarding <br />Stormwater Project Plans relating to two projects seeking funding, in part, through the <br />Public Facilities Authority/Clean Water State Revolving Fund (Green Project Reserve). <br />At the public hearing, information will be presented on the various storm water treatment <br />alternatives considered, the reasons for choosing the selected alternative(s), and the <br />location of the proposed project site(s)." <br />The first project is collectively identified as the 2009 Street and Utility Improvements <br />(Peltier Lake Dr. Area Street & Utility Improvements and the 73rd Street Area Street <br />Improvements). The green elements for which funding is being sought include rain <br />gardens and other Best Management Practices (BMPs) used to treat Stormwater runoff <br />from the project area as well as any items ancillary to those BMPs. <br />The second project is identified as the Downtown Redevelopment Stormwater Treatment <br />Improvements. It focuses on developing best management practices for Centerville Lake <br />as a part of the redevelopment of Centerville's downtown. The green infrastructure <br />aspect of the project includes a new storm sewer system to convey downtown runoff to a <br />proposed Stormwater recovery reservoir to be utilized for irrigation of an existing park <br />facility. <br />The City Hall is ADA accessible. All persons interested are invited to attend and to be <br />heard, verbally or in writing.
