Long Term Maintenance Plan <br />Routine maintenance of the BMPs will be handled primarily by the City (removal of sediment <br />plumes in the pond, storm sewer jetting as needed). Street cleaning completed by the City is <br />expected to remove the larger sediments prior to entering the BMPs. Annual maintenance is also <br />required per the City's SWPPP. Long term maintenance needs may include replacement of the <br />pump works and excavation of the pond to maintain its storage capacity. <br />E. Pollutant Reduction <br />This project will help to directly address the phosphorus and other pollutant loads that are a <br />concern for the lake by phased installation of two stormwater/biofiltration basins, storm sewer <br />system to route proposed impervious surfaces to the BMPs prior to discharge to the lake, <br />rainwater gardens, pervious pavement, citizen education program and a water re-use system. <br />The estimated load reduction is 46.7 Ib/yr of TP, 38.2 ac-ft/year of water volume and 14,488 <br />Ib/year of TSS for the project as a whole. <br />
