<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />March 26, 1986 at City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the <br />meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. Present: Fritchie, Robischon, <br />Zimny, Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to accept the minutes <br />of the March 12 meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: <br /> <br />Mike Dunne, 6907 Tourville Circle, requested permission <br />to put a culvert under the city street to drain a low spot <br />in the cuI de sac. Council could not allow a private <br />individual to do construction work on City property. Public <br />works department will check low spot after the frost goes <br />out. If need be will consider filling with blacktop. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to approve Gordon <br />Rehbein's grading permit at 6805 - 20th Avenue South for <br />a period of two (2) years with a $40,000.00 letter of credit, <br />motion carried unanimously. A copy of the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District permit will be brought to the City Clerk. <br /> <br />NEW BUSIN~SS: <br /> <br />Appearance of Jere Bartz and Gary Groen, Abdo, Abdo & Eick. <br />Mr. Bartz and Mr. Groen reviewed the City's audit report <br />for 1985. They suggested a use for the Fire Department <br />Equipment Fund be designated and that the Park Fund deficit <br />be addressed. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to send a letter to <br />the Houle family and the L'Allier estate requesting postponement <br />of ditch cleaning until fall when ground is dry, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to purchase Public <br />Officials Liability Insurance, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to set up Spring cleanup <br />on May 24th from 9100 a.m. to ):00 p.m., motion carried unanimously. <br />Clerk will confirm with Lake Sanitation. <br /> <br />Clerk will notify Lake Sanitation not to drive big garbage <br />haulers on any restricted roads. Clerk will also notify <br />police to enforce. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Robischon to approve Resolution <br />#5 vacating Main Street from Goiffon Street west to Lake Street, <br />motion carried unanimously. A copy of resolution #5 is attached <br />to a made a part of these minutes. <br />
