<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, <br />January 8, 1986 at City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the <br />meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. Present: Ayers, Robischon, <br />Zimny, Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Robischon to accept the minutes <br />of the December 23rd meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: <br /> <br />Councilman Wilharber received complaints on the noise <br />of the public address system and racing vehicles on Centerville <br />Lake during the races held 1-5-86. He went on record <br />as not being in favor of these races. <br /> <br />Councilman Zimny also received complaints on noise and <br />parking problems during races. <br /> <br />Councilman Robischon stated machines were on the street <br />between races and the sponsoring group didn't plow track <br />down after event as required by the DNR permit. <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to have the City Clerk <br />call, and follow up with a letter, the DNR Thursday A.M. <br />to report racers are in violation of their permit by not <br />plowing track back to original state after their races <br />last weekend; request someone from the DNR monitor races and <br />revoke permit if theyre not complying with conditions <br />required; and call Phil Little, DTRA, to make him aware <br />of our complaints and request he have someone from his <br />group policing the area, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilman Wilharber also received a complaint on the operation <br />of a business at 6945 Centerville Road. The complaint <br />was in regard to the unkept yard and operation outside <br />of regular business hours. This business's Special Use <br />Permit is up for renewal and these complaints will be <br />addressed at that time. <br /> <br />N~W BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Robischon to approve the following liquor <br />license applications of Paul Montain to re-open the Trio <br />Inn: On Sale Liquor, Off Sale Liquor, Sunday Liquor, <br />Off Sale Non-Intoxicating, Cigarette, Dance Permit, motion <br />carried unanimously. Mr. Montain will be leasing the bar <br />from Sherm Peters and Tammy Rehbein will be managing it <br />for him. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Motion by Ayers, second by Wilharber to accept the appraisal <br />figure of $134,750, 70% of the original Circle Pines and <br />Centerville equipment appraisal, but would also consider <br />compromising to 60% of the original appraisal figure totaling <br />$115,500, motion carried unanimously. Clerk will send <br />a letter to the City of Lino Lakes copying in the City of <br />
