<br />Page Two - City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />December 22, 1986 <br /> <br />Meeting reconvened at 9:25 P.M. by Mayor L'Allier. <br /> <br />Councilmen Wilharber & Robischon, and Public Works Director <br />Orville Hughes met to review resumes submitted for the part <br />time position in the Maintenance Dept. The resumes were <br />narrowed down to six applicants. They will be interviewed <br />on Thursday, January 8th beginning at 7:00 P.M. Each interview <br />will be 15 minutes long. Councilmember Fritchie will fill <br />Councilmember Wilharbers position as his term expires Dec. 31st. <br />Following the interviews, a recommendation will be made to the <br />co uncil. <br /> <br />Discussion of inability to locate sewer stub as shown on Milner <br />Carley as-builts at 7294 Mill Road owned by Ted Reeck. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Wilharber to send a letter to <br />Don Carley explaining there is no stub at 7294 Mill Road as <br />shown by as-builts; the City is proceeding with a contractor <br />to determine the stub location and will advise them of the <br />costs incurred, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Fritchie, second by Robischon if there is no stub <br />at 7294 Mill Rd get written agreement with Ted Reeck through <br />our city attorney referencing payment of cost of connecting <br />stub for Mr. Reeck's property and proceed with a new stub <br />according to city engineers specifications, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to close the city <br />offices Christmas Eve and New Years Eve, motion carried unani- <br />mously. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Fritchie to table discussion <br />of the Nicholson maintenance contract until the next council <br />meeting in January, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Zimny to pay current claims, <br />motion carried unanimously. A copy of the receipts and <br />disbursements is attached to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> <br />FINAL COMMENTS: <br />Mayor L'Allier presented Councilman Wilharber & Councilman <br />Zimny with placques in honor of their contributions to the <br />City Council over the last few years. This was their last <br />council meeting. <br /> <br />I~ <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Frit~hie to adjourn meeting, <br />motion carried unanimously.
