Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of Centerville held their regular meeting on September 10, 1986 at City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. Present: Fritchie, Robischon, Zimny, Wilharber. Motion by Robischon, second by Zimny to accept the minutes of the August 27, 1986 meeting, motion carrie unanimously. PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: Discussion on letter councilmembers received from Senator Greg Dahl referencing street assessments on property owned by people in a financial situation that might require the sale of their homes to meet the assessment costs. Council- members Fritchie & Wilharber talked with Senator Dahl on this issue. Complaint on lack of softball tournament. latrine. Clerk will matter. satellites at The Waterworks last The trees and bushes were used as a send letter to the Waterworks on this OLD BUSINESS: Discussion on purchase of city plow. Dan Tourville and Dick Robischon located a Ford L8000 through Boyer Trucks with a reversable plow and wing. They are asking $16,900.00 painted and will give us $3000.00 trade on our present city truck leaving a $13,900.00 balance. Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to offer Boyer Trucks $13,900.00 for Mn DOT truck #74093 also including an engine heater plug, stenciling of City of Centerville on truck and allowing us to keep the beacon off of our present truck, motion carried unanimously. Motion by Robischon, second by Zimny to authorize a $500.00 check be sent to Boyer Trucks as a deposit on truck #74093, motion carried unanimously. Motion by Robischon, second by Fritchie to pay Dan Tourville 22~ per mile for 500 miles for all the mileage he incurred to help the city find a new truck, motion carried unanimously. NEW BUSINESS: Motion by Robischon, second by Wilharber to approve the property split requested by Mr. & Mrs. LaMotte, 1643 Heritage Street, excluding the west 30 feet from lots 9, 10, 11 & 12, block 12, Centerville, and adding that 30 feet to lots 1, 2 & 3, block 13, Centerville, new legal descriptions as follows: All that part of Lots 9, 10, 11 & 12, Block 12, Centerville, described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Lot 9, thence westerly along the north line of said Lot 9, a distance of 120 feet; thence southerly, to a point on the south line of said Lot 12, distant 120 feet west of the Southeast corner of said Lot 12, as measured along the south line of said Lot 12; thence easterly along the south line of said Lot 12 to the southeast corner of said Lot 12;
