<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of Centerville held their regular meeting on September 10, <br />1986 at City Hall. Mayor L'Allier called the meeting to order <br />at 7:00 P.M. Present: Fritchie, Robischon, Zimny, Wilharber. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Zimny to accept the minutes <br />of the August 27, 1986 meeting, motion carrie unanimously. <br /> <br />PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: <br />Discussion on letter councilmembers received from Senator <br />Greg Dahl referencing street assessments on property owned <br />by people in a financial situation that might require the <br />sale of their homes to meet the assessment costs. Council- <br />members Fritchie & Wilharber talked with Senator Dahl on this <br />issue. <br /> <br />Complaint on lack of <br />softball tournament. <br />latrine. Clerk will <br />matter. <br /> <br />satellites at The Waterworks last <br />The trees and bushes were used as a <br />send letter to the Waterworks on this <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />Discussion on purchase of city plow. Dan Tourville and <br />Dick Robischon located a Ford L8000 through Boyer Trucks <br />with a reversable plow and wing. They are asking $16,900.00 <br />painted and will give us $3000.00 trade on our present city <br />truck leaving a $13,900.00 balance. <br /> <br />Motion by Wilharber, second by Fritchie to offer Boyer Trucks <br />$13,900.00 for Mn DOT truck #74093 also including an engine <br />heater plug, stenciling of City of Centerville on truck and <br />allowing us to keep the beacon off of our present truck, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Zimny to authorize a $500.00 <br />check be sent to Boyer Trucks as a deposit on truck #74093, <br />motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Fritchie to pay Dan Tourville <br />22~ per mile for 500 miles for all the mileage he incurred <br />to help the city find a new truck, motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />Motion by Robischon, second by Wilharber to approve the property <br />split requested by Mr. & Mrs. LaMotte, 1643 Heritage Street, <br />excluding the west 30 feet from lots 9, 10, 11 & 12, block 12, <br />Centerville, and adding that 30 feet to lots 1, 2 & 3, block <br />13, Centerville, new legal descriptions as follows: <br /> <br />All that part of Lots 9, 10, 11 & 12, Block 12, <br />Centerville, described as follows: Commencing <br />at the Northeast corner of said Lot 9, thence <br />westerly along the north line of said Lot 9, a <br />distance of 120 feet; thence southerly, to a <br />point on the south line of said Lot 12, distant <br />120 feet west of the Southeast corner of said <br />Lot 12, as measured along the south line of said <br />Lot 12; thence easterly along the south line of <br />said Lot 12 to the southeast corner of said Lot 12; <br />
