<br />Parks & Recreation Committee <br />Meeting Minutes 03-18-09 <br /> <br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />Wednesday, March 18, 2009 - 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville held an <br />additionally scheduled meeting Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />1. Roll Call <br /> <br />Chairperson Seeley called the March 18, 2009 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting to order at 6:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />II. SET AGENDA <br /> <br />Chairperson Seeley requested adding the resignation of Committee Member Harris to the agenda under <br />Committee Business. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Vice-Chairperson Amundsen, seconded by Committee Member Haiden to <br />set the agenda with the above addition. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Centerville Lions I Fete des Lacs 8K Run <br /> <br />Mr. Greg Keiselhorst made an appearance to discuss coordinating efforts between the Parks & <br />Recreation Committee and the Centerville Lions for Fete des Lacs. Finding an adequate number of <br />volunteers is a challenge, there are always plenty of spots open. Recruiting volunteers was discussed. <br />Chairperson Seeley asked if what is needed for volunteers is clearly defined. Mr. KeiseIhorst said it <br /> <br />10f3 <br />
