'{ttO..~", <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and Council Meinbers <br /> <br />FROM: Staff <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Processffimeframe for Liquor Licensing <br /> <br />DATE: January 23, 2001 <br /> <br />Early September <br /> <br />Receive State Liquor License Renewal <br />Applications. <br /> <br />Late September - November <br /> <br />Renewal Application, City Required Forms and <br />Letter Notifying Applicant of Timeframe and <br />Deadlines Forwarded to Applicant for Completion. <br /> <br />October 15 <br /> <br />All Property Tax and Utilities Must be Paid by <br />Individua1/Entity on Dwelling of Business or <br />Property Owned Within the City. <br /> <br />Applicant Must Secure Liquor Liability Insurance <br />for the Year they are securing the License for (State <br />will Not Consider Application unless Included with <br />Same). <br /> <br />Upon Receipt of <br />All Applicants' Completed Forms <br /> <br />Forwarded to Centennial Lakes Police for <br />Background Check/Citations. <br /> <br />Upon Receipt from Centennial <br />Lakes Review - November or <br />December <br /> <br />Presented to Council for Consideration. <br /> <br />Early December <br /> <br />Forwarded to State for Approval <br /> <br />Mid Deceinber <br /> <br />Forwarded to Applicant <br /> <br />In the past, We have heard complaints in regards to securing liquor liability insurance <br />months before needed and have had problems with delinquent property taxes or utilities, <br />which will also delay the process. <br />
