All dwellings shall have a minimum width of twenty-four (24) feet at its narrowest <br />point, with the exception of the M-1 District; and <br /> <br />B. Metal siding, with exposed panels exceeding twelve (12) inches in width, shall not <br />be permitted; and <br /> <br />C. All Single-family, detached dwellings shall have attached garages. Garages may <br />not be converted to habitable space without replacing the required garage; and <br /> <br />D. Single-family dwellings other than approved earth sheitered homes shall have at <br />least a 3/12 roof pitch and shall be covered with an approved roofing material; and <br /> <br />E. All Single-family dwellings shall have roof overhangs, which extend a minimum of <br />one (1) foot from all the walls of the structure. <br /> <br />Division 45: Temporary Dwellinqs and Structures <br /> <br />The use and occupancy of a tent, recreation vehicle or other temporary dwellings for the purpose of living <br />quarters is not permitted in the City, except as approved by the City Council under special circumstances. <br /> <br />Temporary structures and trailers used in conjunction with construction work shall be permitted only <br />during the period that the construction work is in progress. Permits for temporary structures shall be <br />issued for a six (6) month period, but are subject to the Minnesota State Building Code. <br /> <br />Division 50: Drivewav and Parkinq Lot Improvements <br /> <br />All required ingress/egress points, driveways and parking areas shall be paved with asphalt, concrete, <br />pavers, cobblestone or similar material according to minimum City specifications, excluding R-1 Districts. <br />Driveways may not exceed a twenty-four (24) foot width at the streetline. <br /> <br />Division 55: Public Utilities Required <br /> <br />All residential, commercial, industrial, public, institutional or other uses, which include plumbing facilities, <br />shall be connected to the public sewer and water system when available. <br /> <br />Page l8 01'69 <br />
